# Research, content integrity & credits

**Page:** Build With AI / Edition 001 / 24 October 2026.

## Content status and authorship

- **Original educational/editorial material:** the 14-lesson curriculum, prompts, interactive decisions, bug explanations, glossary summaries, fiction labels, website artwork and example source files were created for this page. They do not purport to be empirical findings or the only valid web-development workflow.
- **Observed public context:** Sahilverse public homepage, ADHD Tools Lab, The Hearsay Department and Sahil Tayal Studio were retrievable through web browsing on 24 October 2026. Their pages include relevant demonstrations of navigation, clearly labelled concepts, storytelling and a public service offering, respectively. This does **not** validate site performance, accessibility, security, authorship, business claims, or empirical impact.
- **Interpreted editorial argument:** a working release needs observable tests; original content and visitor usefulness matter more than output volume. Normative guidance and judgement, not experimentally measured outcomes here.
- **Hypothesis requiring research:** engaging simulations and AI-critical prompts may improve the judgment of novice creators. This site has not measured learning outcomes, compared cohorts, or conducted an accessibility trial.
- **Fiction:** the ship simulator stages, bug stories, sample project brief and mock preview page are constructed classroom examples. Their behaviour teaches common practices but is not a prediction of real project success.

## Original/public source links (checked for existence on 2026-10-24)

1. [W3C, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2](https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG22/) — design and testing criteria. W3C's criterion 1.4.3 generally requires 4.5:1 minimum contrast for ordinary text at Level AA, with stated exceptions. Conformance of this site is not independently certified.
2. [MDN, HTML iframe element](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/iframe) — iframe security controls and sandbox behaviour.
3. [MDN, HTMLIFrameElement.srcdoc](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/HTMLIFrameElement/srcdoc) — risks of untrusted embedded markup and origin isolation.
4. [OWASP, DOM Based XSS Prevention Cheat Sheet](https://cheatsheetseries.owasp.org/cheatsheets/DOM_based_XSS_Prevention_Cheat_Sheet.html) — DOM sink risks and appropriate use of `textContent`.
5. [Google Search Central, SEO Starter Guide](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/seo-starter-guide) — useful content, navigation, discoverability and canonicalisation; no ranking promise.
6. [Cloudflare Pages, Direct Upload](https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/get-started/direct-upload/) — staging methods, upload steps and project-type caveats.
7. [Cloudflare Pages, Headers](https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/configuration/headers/) — `_headers` syntax and semantics for static content.
8. [Cloudflare Pages, Rollbacks](https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/configuration/rollbacks/) — limitations and controls for restoring previous production deployments.
9. [Hamer, d'Amorim & Williams (2024), “Just another copy and paste? Comparing the security vulnerabilities of ChatGPT generated code and StackOverflow answers”](https://arxiv.org/abs/2403.15600) — sample-based comparative security research, *not* a universal verdict about AI code quality. The study uses a curated Java snippet dataset; other populations, technologies and models may differ.

## Sahilverse source pages checked at the same time

- [sahiltayal.com](https://sahiltayal.com/) — accessible homepage with a creative project index and navigation modes.
- [adhdtools.sahiltayal.com](https://adhdtools.sahiltayal.com/) — accessible idea stage page with explicit concept caveats.
- [hearsay.sahiltayal.com](https://hearsay.sahiltayal.com/) — accessible fictional reporting-world case study.
- [services.sahiltayal.com](https://services.sahiltayal.com/) — accessible public studio service page.

Other possible Sahilverse destinations in the original brief were not included when their existence could not be independently retrieved. Some URLs in that brief were corrupted into character-by-character fragments (`https://s/`, etc.); those fragments are not usable destinations and were **not** copied into the site.

## Creative assets, privacy & reuse

- All visuals in this release are original CSS and two hand-authored SVG illustrations (icon and social card). No images, external fonts, purchased art, tracking pixels or library dependencies are included.
- Code and examples in the ZIP are made for public educational use and may be adapted. Source documentation linked above remains the property of the original authors and organisations. No unattributed long passages or protected graphics were copied.
- The website does not implement server-side data collection, authentication or analytics. It relies on client-only forms and file export. The hosting platform itself may retain routine logs.

## Review limits

External materials are time-sensitive. Recheck source links, published platform documentation and custom-domain DNS when deploying. The site has not been deployed or subjected to formal penetration testing, assistive-technology evaluation or real-user studies. Test results must not be inferred from confident AI language.
